Announced on The Cavavanughs Facebook page and confirmed through series creator Adrian Morales, original cast member Deborah Estelle Philips (Charley) has announced her departure from the series following the completion of Season 4. So does that mean Charley is going to jail? “Not exactly”, previews Adrian Morales. “Charley has a pivotal role in Season 4 and lots of story to complete before her character leaves the canvas. We love Deborah and working with her since the series original pilot in 2008 has been a joy and an honor. She will always be a Cavanaugh!” Deborah was also nominated this past year for Breakthrough Performance at the 3rd Annual Indie Soap Awards when her character Charley was outed as lesbian which lead to a suicide contemplation.
